Not quite. Hostilo is built and we are opening to our first customers shortly. Everything on this site is priced and specified, but you cannot buy today. Join the list and we will tell you the day you can, with no obligation and nothing to pay now.
Yes, and you will have three options. Move the domain to us and keep everything in one place, leave it where it is and just point it at our hosting, or use us for email only. All three are on the Already have a domain page and none of them take your site offline.
Hostiy answers with your account context and can carry out most changes itself, including DNS, mailbox passwords and auto-renew. Anything to do with billing, cancellations or a judgement call goes to a person, and you will see that it did.
No. Email plans are sold on their own, so you can keep your site wherever it is and just run your mailboxes here.
Our hosting platform is being built to run in South Africa, and that is where we intend customer websites and mailboxes to live. Today, before we have opened, the only thing we hold is what you give us on this site, and that sits with our hosting provider in Ireland. Our privacy notice sets out exactly what we collect and what we do with it.
One login, as many companies as you like. Each company has its own domains, hosting and invoices, and you switch between them from the top of your dashboard.
Yes. Hostilo trades as part of Central Studio (Pty) Ltd, which is VAT registered, so listed prices exclude VAT and 15% is added when you are invoiced. Your invoice is a valid tax invoice, and if you add your own VAT number it appears on every one.
Any time. Hosting is month to month. Domains are registered for a year at a time and stay yours until they expire. We will never hold one hostage.
