Hostilo is small on purpose. We are opening shortly, selling domains, hosting and email to South African businesses that want the basics done properly, without a call centre in the way.
Why we exist
The gap we kept running into
Every host in this country falls into one of two camps. The big ones have a slick signup and then a support queue you can measure in hours. The small ones answer the phone but cannot scale past the person answering it.
We think the answer is not more staff or better hold music. It is not having to ask in the first place. So we automated the setup end to end, and where you do need something changed, the assistant in your dashboard makes the change rather than sending you a link.
Anything involving money or cancelling an account goes to a person. That is a deliberate line, not a limitation.

We will run our own infrastructure
We are building on a stack we control rather than reselling a panel we cannot automate, because automating the setup end to end is the whole point. That build is what we are finishing now.
The price is the price
Renewal cost is printed next to the signup cost. No introductory rate that quietly doubles.
Real numbers, no unlimited
Storage and bandwidth limits are published. If a plan does not fit your site we will tell you before you pay.
Your domain is yours
Registered in your name, transferable whenever you want. We will never make leaving difficult.
