Who we are

Hostilo is a trading name of Central Studio (Pty) Ltd, a company registered in South Africa under registration number 2021/916757/07 and registered for VAT under number 4800304463. Our registered address is 10 Haggie Road, Anderbolt, Boksburg, Gauteng, South Africa. That is the registered address of the responsible party for the personal information this site collects, and the address for any legal notice about this document.

We are setting up a dedicated Hostilo mailbox. Until it is live, the form on this site is the way to reach us, including to ask about anything on this page. We would rather send you to something that works than print an address that bounces.

This site does not sell anything yet

Hostilo is in the final stages of being built. Everything on this site describes what we are opening with, and you cannot buy it today. There is no checkout, no payment page and no account to create. Any page that once led to one now brings you to the list.

Prices on this site

Prices shown are what we intend to charge, in South African rand and excluding VAT. Central Studio (Pty) Ltd is a registered VAT vendor, so 15% is added when you are invoiced. Prices are indicative until we open and are not an offer capable of acceptance. We will publish the price you actually pay before you are ever asked to pay it.

Joining the list

Joining the list costs nothing, commits you to nothing and reserves nothing. It does not hold a domain name for you: a domain belongs to whoever registers it first, and we cannot register one until we open. If the name you want is taken in the meantime, we are sorry, and there is nothing we will be able to do about it.

We will email you when we open. You can ask us to stop at any time and we will. What we do with your details is set out in our privacy notice.

Domain searches

The domain search checks availability at the time you run it and shows you what we would charge. Availability changes by the second and is decided by the registry, not by us. A result is information, not a reservation.

The assistant

Hostiy is an AI assistant. On this site it answers questions about our products before you are a customer. It can be wrong, and nothing it says is a quote, a commitment or advice you should act on without checking. Anything it tells you that contradicts this site or our published prices is wrong, and this site wins.

What we say on this site

We work hard to keep this site accurate and to describe only what actually exists. Specifications, limits and features may still change before we open. If something here turns out to be wrong, we will correct it rather than hold you to it.

Using the site

Use it normally. Do not try to break into it, scrape it at a volume that interferes with other people, or use it to send anyone anything unlawful. The text, design, logo and code are ours and are protected by copyright.

Liability

We provide this site as it is. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be contracted out of. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss arising from your use of this site, including loss of a domain name you did not register.

Law

These terms are governed by the law of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.

Changes

We may update these terms, and the date at the top changes when we do. When Hostilo opens, a separate service agreement will govern the services you buy, and you will see it before you buy anything.
